We provide wheat straw, dry green grass, peanut straw, rice straw, and cereal straw.
Wheat straw is the stalk left over after wheat grains are harvested. Traditionally, it has been treated as a waste. In some countries, farmers burn it, contributing to air pollution and creating a public health hazard.
Underfoot, it might squish if it's wet and muddy, or crackle and crunch if it's crispy and dry. In a breeze, it could swish or whoosh, or even rattle a little if it is taller or has gone to seed. It can rip or snap if you pull on it, especially when it's dry. Dry grass crackles and pops when it burns, too.
It is widely used as animal feed for sheep, goats, cows, milking/meat/ and growing livestock. It is considered to be a very favorate feed for animals.
Animals (also called Metazoa) are multicellular, eukaryotic organisms in the biological kingdom Animalia. With few exceptions, animals consume organic material, breathe oxygen, are able to move, can reproduce sexually, and go through an ontogenetic stage in which their body consists of a hollow sphere of cells, the blastula, during embryonic development.
I was writing poetry, and the Mountain Goats was an outgrowth of that.
I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.
